About the project
The jewellery store under discussion was a physical outlet where a wide range of jewellery was being designed and sold to the public. The product variety ranged from expensive heavy platinum sets to low-cost silver earrings sets.
The client wanted to expand its reach by becoming a player of the eCommerce market by offering its users an interactive mobile application which is compatible with both iOS and Android.
The biggest challenge was to craft a mobile application which not only gives a wonderful experience to the users but also serves all the associated web services.
Why was it required?
Over the years, there has been a significant increase in mobile users which has been overpowering the physical market to a great extent. People now want to shop the world at the comforts of their homes.
Moreover, the trend of online shopping has increased so much that the conventional ways of shopping have taken the back seat. People are not only using mobile applications for real shopping but are also using it to keep a tap on the prevailing trends in the market.
Mobile applications have proven to expand businesses by a multifold. Hence, shifting from a conventional store to a mobile application would surely tingle the greater audience.
Adding on, the thought process of the audience is now changing. Using the conventional means of commerce is now giving a set back to many businesses. To be a player of the larger market, one needs to upgrade the business as per the needs of the market.
