About the client
The client in the question is a thriving clothing retailer. He wanted to expand the business and contacted us for a Magento eCommerce store.
The client wanted to go beyond the geographical boundaries to get the benefits of the untapped business. Although the client clearly stated the requirements, still the process emerged to be full of various challenges.
The challenge
The client, being extremely cooperative, provided a lot of details from his side. He provided the blueprint of how the store should look like, what should be the colour scheme, the brand identity, etc. But there was a problem.
- The client gave a precise and detailed way of how the filters should work. Transforming those thoughts into practicality was extremely difficult.
- We were asked to maintain the brand’s identity even outside the Magento’s functionality. It wasn’t effortless yet possible.
- Mapping purchase intent to get the best deals from the suppliers.
- Enabling suppliers to offer best deals catering to the buyers’ interest.
- Placing orders based on the prices offered by the suppliers automatically. (Automatically Price Setting)
- Order management by back-end.
We had to manage the expectations while giving out the best outputs and results.
The custom filter came out to be a great challenge because Magento did not have a direct action for such output.
The Solution
The results
The results so received were terrific and awestruck. Here is the brief of what we observed
- 47% + in Mobile Traffic
- 50%+ conversion rates
- 50%+ New customer accounts
- 18% decrease in page load time.
